Daily Do · Last updated October 2026
Daily Do works entirely on your iPhone. There is no Daily Do account, no server, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We never receive your calendar, reminders, email, or anything else. Daily Do gathers your day from your own phone, builds your page there, and keeps nothing longer than it needs to.
With your permission, Daily Do reads the calendars and Reminders lists on your iPhone to show today’s and the coming week’s appointments, your chosen shopping list, and anything due. It only reads them and never changes them. This all happens on your iPhone.
If you choose to connect Gmail, you enter your Gmail address and an app password
that you create in your Google Account. Daily Do then connects directly from your iPhone to
Google’s mail server (imap.gmail.com) over an encrypted connection. There is no
server of ours in between.
To show your teams’ latest results and next games, Daily Do requests public schedules from ESPN. Those requests contain only the league and team, with no personal information and no cookies. As with any website, ESPN can see the internet address the request comes from.
Daily Do keeps only the latest copy of your page (a PDF) on your iPhone, replacing it each time it rebuilds. It leaves your phone only when you choose to Print or Share it, and then it goes only where you send it.
The morning reminder is a local notification scheduled on your iPhone. It shows counts only (“3 things on the calendar today”), never appointment names, so nothing private appears on your lock screen.
Your preferences, such as calendar categories, the shopping list, favorite teams, email category rules, and the morning time, are saved only on your iPhone.
Tapping an item opens Apple’s Calendar or Reminders, Gmail, or ESPN. Those apps and sites have their own privacy policies.
Disconnect Gmail in Daily Do’s Settings to remove your email sign-in. Deleting the app removes everything Daily Do kept on your iPhone. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Daily Do is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
